Solo in Liverpool

I took my second solo trip this year to Liverpool. I arrived late Friday afternoon and stayed in the School Lane Hotel. This was a fantastic hotel and was very central. Once organised I went on an audio guide which started at Albert Docks. The audio guide took around 90 minutes and it was a super way to see the Albert Dock and other nearby locations and I learnt about Liverpool's history.

Then on Saturday I went on an audio guided tour around the city where there were "most haunted" places around Liverpool city centre. It was really fun and it was a super way to get to see famous haunted landmarks around Liverpool. I would recommend this tour as it was an enjoyable and engaging way to see the city. However I did see group tours if you wanted a guide tour rather than solo/audio tours. Next I went to Lush (in the Liverpool store and other stores) Lush do spa treatments! I had booked in for "Tangle Hair Spa treatment." This treatment is a Japanese inspired treatment and it was so relaxing! I would highly recommend Lush for spa treatments. The next and last stop was then to Liverpool Empire Theatre to watch Come From Away. This was a moving musical about true events in the Newfoundland during the week following the September 11 attacks, when 38 planes, carrying passengers, were ordered to land unexpectedly at Gander Airport. This was my favourite part of my trip and I would recommend this musical to any theatre go

Let me know what your favourite parts of Liverpool are as I've got another stay later in the year!
