Itsukushima shrine, the century-old shrine floating in the sea during high tide, has more than 1400 years of history. It is a registered world heritage site which attracts thousands of tourists all around the world. Overlooking the torii from the shrine, you would always wonder how ancient Japanese could build such a magnificent architect which stood for thousands years and remains intact as of now.

The tide rises, the tide falls. At high tide, the torii gate and the shrine elegantly sits on top of the water. At low tide, you can walk right up to the foot of the torii ⛩ to experience it up close.

Hiroshima is famous for its yummy oysters. This restaurant is always packed with tourists for its delicious and fresh oysters. Whether it is raw, grilled, cooked with rice or fried, the freshness and the richness of the oysters impressed me so much that the aftertaste lingers deep in my mouth.
