Our Niagara Falls Day Tour begins with a complimentary pick-up from most Toronto hotels. Along your journey, we offer amazing facts on the surrounding region & the Falls. Upon arrival, embark on either the boat, helicopter or other tour (add-ons available) or explore the Falls. Join us for an amazing buffet lunch (add-on) with panoramic views overlooking the Falls.
We then continue along the scenic Niagara Parkway, learning the rich history of the War of 1812, Whirlpool Rapids, Laura Secord’s homestead, Sir Adam Beck power station, the Floral Clock, Queenston Heights, Mackenzie House and the historic Fort George.
Arriving in the beautiful and historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, stroll through the streets. Visit the unique culinary and fashion boutiques, or take a horse drawn carriage ride. A tour in Niagara would not be complete without a wine tasting! Conclude the tour with an exclusive presentation and sampling of some of Ontario’s most prestigious wines.
9:00 AM - Depart Toronto with hotel pick ups prior and head towards Niagara Falls. Along the way your tour guide will keep you entertained with facts and history of Canada. There will be beautiful scenery and glimpse of Lake Ontario, the Niagara Escarpment and the Welland Canal.
10:30 AM - Upon arrival, be amazed at the first glimpse of the Falls. Your tour guide will escort you to a scenic vantage where you can get an unparalleled look at the 3 thundering shoots. Get up close and experience the magnificence of the thunder of the waters on the Hornblower Niagara Cruise. Free time will be allowed for self exploration.
12:00 PM - Enjoy an add-on buffet lunch at the Fallsview Dinning room of the Sheraton hotel. Enjoy panoramic views of Niagara Falls.
1:30 PM - Drive along the famed Niagara Parkway: one of the most spectacular drives leading from Niagara Falls to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Just ask Sir Winston Churchill, he names the Niagara Parkway one of the prettiest Sunday Drives. Stop at the Whirlpool Rapids, See landmark sites like the Floral Clock, Sir Adam Beck Power Generating Stations, Queenston Heights the Mackenzie Printery and Newspaper Museum, Fort George National Historic Site.
2:15 PM - Arrive in Niagara-On-The-Lake, and explore the rich heritage, browse the quaint shops, or walk along to the waters edge to see the Niagara river, which acts as a boarder between Canada and the USA leading out into Lake Ontario.
3:30pm - No Tour to the Niagara Region would be complete without a wine sampling. Finish the day off with a presentation and sampling of some of Ontario's award winning wines.
4:00 PM - Depart for return to Toronto.
