Day 0: Flight to Cusco with connection in Lima
Day 1:  Awanakancha-Cochahuasi-Chinchero

Day 2:  Pisaq-Community Immersion

Day 4:  Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

Day 5:  Machu Picchu

• Train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo.

Day 6:  Cusco City Historical Tour
• Via private van, walking, or horseback.
• Includes Q’enqo, Tambo Machay, Puca Pucara, Templo de la Luna, Saqsayhuaman, cathedral, and Q’oricancha.

• 1-2 miles / 2-5 km – 1-2 hours intermittent walking for car and horseback tours.
• 3-5 miles / 5-8 km – 3-4 hours for walking tours.
Day 7:  Southern Ruins Route: Pikillaqta-Tipon-Andahuaylillas
• Tipon’s Incan agricultural terraces and irrigation system.
• Pikillaqta (Quechua for “village of the flea people” – due to their short stature) is a large archaeological site the Wari culture occupied from about 550 to 1100 AD for ceremonies.
• The magnificent frescos in the baroque church of Andahuaylillas, nicknamed "the Sistine Chapel of America".
• Hotel in Cusco.
• 2.5 miles / 4 km – 2 hours.
Day 8: Private van transfer from Cusco hotel to CUZ airport.
