Quirky and Very Comfortable Manor House B&B in Northumberland

A beautiful Grade II listed Manor House. Comfortable, relaxed and welcoming. 3 large en-suite guest bedrooms all on the first floor. Delicious breakfasts with local ingredients. Guests have use of the elegant drawing room with big comfy sofas and wood burning stove. Large spacious dining room with open fire and cosy morning room with log burning stove. The massive floor to ceiling windows flood the house with light throughout the day. Huge sandy beaches, hills and castles all within 15-20 minutes. Alnwick Castle and Gardens, The Holy Island of Lindisfarne and beautiful Bamburgh Castle to name but a few. The 14th C Chillingham Castle (reputably the most haunted building in the UK) is across the road. The pretty 12th C St Peters Church is opposite and in the castle parkland above the house are the World famous Wild White Cattle of Chillingham. Rarer than the giant panda. A village shop and pub are just over a mile away. It is a wonderful step back in time place with all modern comforts. A really special place to stay. Take all 3 bedrooms and it is like having your own private house. A real treat.
