Nestled between world heritage rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, we are the only backpackers between Cairns and Port Douglas, with stunning Palm Cove beach only 100m away from our doorstep.
We offer small boutique accommodation, all our rooms are located on the ground floor and some have direct access to our tropical outdoor area and pool. All rooms are fully tiled (no carpet) and freshly painted.
We are not a party backpackers – we are a chilled-out flash packers!

As an avid fisherman, diver and adventurer, Cairns has been the perfect place for me to call home for more 20 years.
We can guarantee that Cairns and the Far North is a wonderful place to live and visit for singles and families alike.
We have explored this country extensively and can give you local advice on the best places to visit for your adventures. From the tip of Cape York, inland camping at the Inot Hot springs to the We've got you covered. Through our extensive partnerships with adventure travel guides and tours, you will also have the best choice and get the best prices.
As a family man, I can also give you advice on the best kid friendly adventures and activities. We also welcome families here at Cairns Flash Packers. Our ensuite family room sleep 4 with ease.

We have bikes, beach mats and beach chairs to hire for your enjoyment.
In my spare time you will find me fishing, crabbing, diving or snorkelling, or volunteering with QLD Conservation and Wildlife Management.
