Vildmarks Lodge has no closely neighbouring properties. There are 6 semi-detached, fully equipped private lodges, all with stunning river views. The lodges can accommodate up to 8 people each. Because of the welcoming layout of our warm and cosy lodges, they are suitable for both individuals and bigger groups. Every lodge has a total floor space of 150 m2.
Vildmarks Lodge is located in the tranquil Swedish forest, on the banks of the beautiful river Ljusnan. It’s a magical place offering a wide variety of experiences, diverse wildlife, and breathtaking river views. Here you can endlessly enjoy gazing at the skies, watching the sunrise, sunset, the stars, and even the Northern Lights if you’re lucky! The best time of year to see the Northern Lights is between November and March.
Along the 1.5 kilometres of riverbank, Vildmarks Lodge has its own beach and dock from which you can take a boat ride, swim, catch fish or explore the river by canoe.
You can hike or bike your way through the surrounding woodland; build your own raft or tree house; collect wood and make a campfire. During colder months you can go sled dog riding, take out a snowmobile or go completely off track on your skis. Throughout the year you can also relax, enjoy the hot tub and sauna, or just do nothing!
