Our guide picks you up at 7 a.m at the lobby of the centrally located hotel in Managua or Granada. The tour starts passing from town to town admiring the beautiful Nicaraguan landscapes as agricultural plantations, lakes, volcanoes, small towns. Once in León, the transfer includes 45 minutes on a dirt road; from the road, you see the black volcano rising, until you reach the volcano.
Get ready to start the hike as you take your sand-boarding equipment (board and backpack). The hike might take from 35 minutes to 1 hour depending on your fitness level.
