$50 - $120 / person
The route starts from Camps Bay, gradually along a jeep track, and up through Corridor ravine, a small indigenous forest on the Twelve Apostles. We will be surrounded by trees, Fynbos and its endemic birds along the path. The ascent becomes steeper until we reach the lower plateau of the mountain, with beautiful views of Cape Point and Hout Bay in the distance. We will reach the old cable car ruins with great photo opportunity from the famous ‘Diving Board Rock’ and much more to see.
We will explore the amphitheater, where the Valley of the Red Gods is—closed in on all sides, it is a green gem on the mountain. Afterwards, we will approach Echo Valley, where we will have a picnic, facing the spectacular Silvermine and Hout Bay in the distance. We will descend through Kasteelspoort, +/- 1.5 hours walking down a beautiful ravine, with the sound of water flowing on the background and stunning views of Lion's Head and the Atlantic seaboard.
