Physical Preparation & Weather: This expedition is designed for travelers in good health, but it includes moderate walking and exposure to remote areas. Patagonia’s weather is notoriously unpredictable and can change rapidly; it is common to experience "four seasons in a single day," including strong winds and sudden temperature drops.
Logistics & Flights: To ensure a seamless start, participants must arrive at the designated starting city the day before the official itinerary begins. Internal logistics and domestic flights are tightly coordinated, so adherence to the schedule is essential.
Entry Requirements & Insurance: Depending on your nationality, a reciprocity fee or visa may be required to enter Chile/Argentina. Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses and trip cancellation is mandatory for all participants.
