Described by travelers as one of the most beautiful lakes in Central America surrounded by an impressive landscape formed by 3 volcanoes and 11 Mayan villages.

At 6 a.m, we pick you up at your centrally located hotel in Antigua Guatemala or Guatemala City for a 3-hour land transfer towards Atitlán Lake.

Our first stop is the viewpoint with an impressive panoramic view over Sololá department, the volcanoes, and the lake. Then, we arrive at Panajachel or "Pana", one of the 11 Mayan Villages. We take in the morning a 20-minute boat transfer towards the first sustainable town of the zone, San Juan la Laguna. Crossing the lake is part of the adventure, admiring the nature, blue waters of the lake, and 3 volcanoes.

In San Juan laLaguna, as soon as we get off the boat, we start walking on the "Handicrafts street" and the cultural path starts, which include chocolate + medicinal plants tours, textile factories, hand-made color, and its processes, art galleries, and souvenir shopping.

Take lunch on your own at the local restaurants

In the afternoon, we take the 20-minute boat transfer back to Panajachel. In Panajachel, you have free time on your own to go the pier, take unique pictures of the landscapes, and walk on its stoned-streets filled with handicrafts as backpacks, clothing, hats, shoes, all of hand-made textiles and leather.

Transfer back to Antigua or Guatemala City is at 4 p.m, approximately.
