Hi! I'm Maria Malyk, the author of "Hack Solo Travel: A Practical and Civil Guide to World Adventuring for Broke Babes", coming out late 2021. I am writing this guidebook for novice (or "rusty") travelers who have the wanderlust to see the world but have been hesitating because they think it's too expensive, too dangerous, too lonely -- or they simply don't know where to start to make it happen. The Hack Solo Travel guidebook will walk you through all you need to know about international / budget / solo travel: from picking a destination, to the logistics of planning a trip abroad, to orienting oneself on foreign soil, to making the best of cultural and spiritual exposure, to figuring out communication (even with the language barrier), to being a courteous guest (as opposed to the "oblivious tourist" stereotype), to debuting as an "international babe of mystery" on the intense international dating scene -- to doing it all safely and on a reasonable budget.
