Ah thank you so much for your lovely comment! It was a pleasure writing this article :) Uhm the private driver is something we didn't know anything about when we were home. We arrived in our hostel in New Delhi and we didn't really have that much of a plan but we were thinking about booking a train ride to Jaipur or something. We asked at the hostel reception for the nearest train station where we could buy a train ticket. They told us that it wasn't such a great idea to travel by train because the trains mostly have a lot of delays and it takes you a lot of time to get from your train station to your hostel/hotel. And besides that it would cost a lot of time and a lot of money as well because you always need to get yourself a taxi from the train station to your hostel/hotel. They also told us at the reception that they offered a service that works with personal drivers who bring you to the most beautiful (tourist and non-tourist )places in Rajasthan. The driver can also bring you to all the sights in a city or at it's suburbs and it is a fast way of traveling, you can see twice as much by car than by train! You can book it as a tour, you decide what cities you want to visit, how long you want to stay and how many days you need your driver. They have some connections with some beautiful (and pretty cheap) hotels all around Rajashtan and they book all your nights in all the different cities. So all in this price includes transport (gas/toll everything), accomodation and breakfast. You can drive as much as you want for the price and the driver will bring you everywhere you want. We paid about 500 euros per person for these 8 days and we so much of Rajashtan. We were so happy that we choose for this option because now we saw so much more than we would have ever seen if we would have choosen for the train option! The name of this tour company is Travel India One day and we can highly recommend this, perfect service, super friendly driver and a good/fair price.
