*Travel Documents: Carry your visa clearance letter, travel insurance policy, and printed flight tickets. Photocopies of important documents are recommended.
*Travel Conditions & Terrain: Bhutan’s landscape includes winding mountain roads, high passes, and rural paths. Those prone to motion sickness should prepare accordingly.
*Altitude & Fitness: Some destinations, such as Phobjikha, Bumthang, and Trongsa, involve moderate altitudes (up to 3,000–3,500 m). Light hikes and walking are part of the tour, so a reasonable fitness level is recommended.
*Climate & Clothing: Weather can vary greatly between valleys. Layered clothing, warm jackets, rain gear, and comfortable walking shoes are essential.
*Connectivity: Internet and mobile coverage may be limited in remote valleys, so expect occasional disconnection.
*Cultural Sensitivity: Bhutan is a deeply spiritual country. Dress modestly when visiting monasteries, dzongs, or temples, and follow your guide’s instructions regarding local customs.
*Health & Safety: Carry personal medications, basic first-aid items, and insect repellent. Travel insurance covering medical emergencies is strongly recommended.
