When I travel to a place I don't want to hear about the too attractions I want to know where the locals go, so here you go... I javelin been going here for 25 years...

For best seafood...Joe Patti's resturant..stay away from tourist restaurants they give you bottom of the barrel.

Peg Leg Pete's: nice place for lunch.

Flounders after 10p for night life.

McGuires Irish pub: very good.

Fort Pickens an old Spanish fort worth seeing. There are beautiful beaches there and lots of fishing if your into that otherwise the fort is very cool.

NAS Air Museum... worth a day visit when it re opens. You can also watch the Blue Angels practice here certain times of the year. They have a cafe, gift shop, and imax.

Down on Pensacola beach there are wave runner rentals and the pier where you can rent fishing poles or people watch. It offers gorgeous views of beach.

Don't forget to get a bushwacker drink... invented in Pensacola! There are also boat rentals and fishing charters... something for everyone!

Make sure you buy what you need before crossing 3 Mile bridge to the beach... prices are expensive on beach for things you need.

If you go to the blue angel airshow on the beach in July be sure to arrive the day before...traffic is HORRIBLE
