If you want to see panoramic view of the Lucerne, my advice is to visit Chateau Gütsch, it will give you city on the palm of your hand. Fun fact about this hotel, back in the 90's, most famous pop star in the world, Michael Jackson, oferred to buy this place for few millions of franks but the offer was turned down.
