Meghalaya, an Abode of Clouds, one of the most incredible seven sister states in the north eastern part of India. Meghalaya will amaze you with its beauty in an unimaginable way and will turn into a storyteller later, for sure. Not only it offers a myriad of sights, delicious food activities, the local culture, and festivals but also there are many attractions and activities which will leave you speechless.

Out of many, the two gems named Cherrapunji and Shillong make the state truly a wonderland, The Meghalaya is divided into Khasi, Garo, and Jaintia Hills. The original name of Cherrapunji was Sohra on the days when it was the capital of a local chieftainship. It was difficult to pronounce for the Britishers and they used to pronounce it as “Churra” before they changed the name into Cherrapunji.

And then, I started cutting off all the unnecessary expenses, and then I was able to save some money to travel. And that is how I started traveling.
