How to reach El Nido?

You will find different options to reach El Nido. The most convenient is by vans from Puerto Princesa (where is the Airport), it will take you from your hotel and leave you in the bus terminal in El Nido. Here I want to clarify that El nido is not too big so, the bus terminal is a small place in the middle of the El Nido. So don't be scared, it will be really easy to reach your place there, you have tuk-tuk that for less money will take you until your place.

Where you should stay?

El Nido is definitely a tourist city so you will have a thousand of options to stay there from Hostel, Hotel, Guest Houses and funcy ones. Besides, prices are the same you can find cheapest places or expensive ones, you will have too many options. It will depend of your budge and kind of trip. We stayed in a Hostel in a sharing room close of Corong-Corong Beach.

Corong-Corong Beach

As I mentioned before we stayed in a hostel close of this beach. Therefore, once we reach the hostel, we just left of our stuff there, we did the check in and we went to explore the closest places. In our exploration, we find the Corong-Corong beach, which it has a blue water and a white sand. We enjoy our day there.

Excursions

We will find too many different options for trips there to visit different islands and I do not want to forget to say that El Nido is one of the cheapest places where you can do the diving course. Thus, if you are interesting on it, do not miss this opportunity. We contracted two days of excursions. They call it as excursion A, B, C and D, due to they have programmed the places to visit in each excursion. The most popular tours are the A and C. Therefore, we decided to do it.

Helicopter Island

First stop was the Helicopter Island as the name show this island has the form of Helicopter. We spent one hour there, enjoying the beautiful landscape and the blue water.

Hidden Beach

Second stop was Hidden Beach. Actually, the sea was a little complicated because to reach the beach the guides cannot to close of the beach so they said to us that the only way to reach the beach was swimming until the coast. The waves were heavy, so it was a little bit dangerous but we just jump from the boat and swam. I got a little injury there but the beach was nice to take photos. To come back to the boat was more safely.

Talisay Beach

This stop was for lunchtime. I have to say that I never expected to have an amazing lunch as we have there. We ate fish with salad and fruit but everything was so fresh that it was a real amazing lunch.

Star Beach

In this stop, we did a lot snorkeling. We enjoyed the landscape. Each of this places that we visit, you feel like there were not people before due to there is everything clean and people is taking care of it.

Tour A

Same as the day before, we reach the office of tourism and we start our trip at 9 am. We did not have to pay for the environmental fee due to it is just one time in the whole trips in Palawan.

Secret Lagoon

To reach the Secret Lagoon, we have the same issue as the Hidden Beach the day before, due to the tide was heavy, we have to swim until the coast and we enter to the Secret Lagoon through a small hole. I have to say, that it was the funny and excite moment. When you reach there, you have a small place with sand and the rest is just a lagoon inside.

Las Cabañas Beach

The last day in El Nido, we had to decide which place visiting due to our van was rented for the evening so, we decided to go to Las Cabañas Beach after breakfast. We spent the day there. I was completely in shock when we reach this beach; it was a beautiful landscape with the mountain in the background. I was in shock with the beauty of the nature there.
