I'm really a New York lover, before my last trip I was really carefully checking my Lonely Planet, and also asking for friends recommendations. In my plans, besides of visits, entrances, tickets, and route I was adding some food and drink tips, just in case I can be hungry or thirsty in any moment. My idea was to loose as less time as possible for lunch, I would prefer to enjoy a relaxing dinner or drink in the evening.
One of my friends explain me about one Food Truck, just in front of MET Museum, located in the 5th Avenue. According to her explanations the staff is formed by USA veterans, and with your food order you're helping them economically. For me it was really a good idea, trying to cooperate a bit with this people.
Of course, I planned to buy and enjoy the Hot Dog after the MET visit, so it was really appropriate for my plans. It was really so tasty, and yummy! The service is so quick and cheap. And I could enjoyed it in the stairs entrance of the museum, a lot of people was doing exactly the same. After this I kept going and discovering Manhattan.
My next tip will be a club recommendation in the city, is not a secret, but I really liked it! 😍
Hope it helps 😉
