Newcastle. What did I know before going? Honestly, not a lot. I thought it was a great place for a good night out, Geordie Shore and Ant and Dec. I however hadn't taken into account some of the culture in the city, simply beautiful. Why not take a look around Quayside, Bigg Market or Newcastle castle? When I told people there was a castle in Newcastle they've always been shocked, it makes sense though being called Newcastle that there will be a castle! Whilst wondering around the city take a look at some of the architecture, some of the buildings are simply gorgeous! You can easily spend a day getting lost looking round and the beauty of the city. Also everyone is super friendly and was always happy to help.
However, If you want a good night out after your day of sight seeing I would highly recommend Cosy Joes! A karaoke bar with friendly people and personally my favourite New Year's Eve spent dancing the night away to classic music! For me this is a perfect weekend away! I hope this has been helpful and if you do venture to Newcastle you enjoy your stay as much as I loved my stay.
