As sporty as we are (you can read this with a hint of sarcasm), we walked/climbed the Samaria Gorge. This is a big Gorge in Crete of 13 kilometers long (You can choose to make it longer, but we wanted to save some energy for the rest of the holiday).

Are we crazy by doing that? YES. Was it hard? YES. Were the views amazing? DOUBLE YES.

We did the 13 km in 5-6 hours. This included breaks for eating, stopping for filming and resting. When you arrive at the end, there is a boat that brings you back to a big city and there, you can take a bus back to your city.

It was a very hard walk, but definitely worth doing! (Scary thing: when we were in the Gorge, we heard big stones falling down and screams of people. Kinda scary, kinda dangerous.)

Note: The day after the Samaria Gorge, we were tired (that's quite an understatement). So we recommend a beach day/resting day after!

See you guys in the next tip!
